Customer Testimonials

..."The service provided by Meditelle is a cut above the rest. Working as a Nursing Sister in a London Hospital, I have had contact with lots of other companies and find Meditelle exceptionally good in the service they provide. The staff are very hard working, polite, are approachable and willing to help with any queries and get the work done to a high standard without interrupting services. They are willing to travel to London at short notice and work to a high standard up to after hours in order that the service we provide for the patients are not interrupted. Praise and big Thank You for upholstering our couches and chairs in our department which all look like new and saved us lots of money. I am pretty certain we will use your firm again."

Shirley Registe, (Sister Derm. UHL), University Hospital Lewisham

..."Just to let you know we are very pleased with our new covers. The gentleman who came to do them was excellent. Many thanks."

Infection Control

Ensuring the safety of your equipment such as medical couches, plinths, patient treatment chairs and seating is vital.

If an upholstered upholstery section is penetrated and the inner foam can be seen, it is impossible to carry out proper cleaning and decontamination of a potentially contaminated surface.

Re-upholstering the vinyl covering may be all that's required to reduce the spread of contamination if you have any scrage marks, slits or tears in your equipment vinyl covering that presents a serious infection control hazard. Treating this quickly and efficiently with our re-covering service limits the chances of infections and keeps your equipment safe and hygienic.

On-site Visits

All procedures are carried out on-site at your clinic, surgery or hospital, ensuring your equipment will not be out of use for more than a few hours. We can upholster your equipment around your busy schedule and early time slots prior to opening are available.

When you book our service we will arrange with you a convenient date and time for us to visit.

The Onsite Process

Our professional upholsterer will arrive onsite at your centre with a mobile air compressor, staple gun, foam padding and vinyl material to carry out the following procedure:

• Carefully disassemble your equipment and remove all existing upholstery – this is important to ensure any contamination is removed along with the top vinyl

• Inspect the frame and tighten all joints where necessary

• Top all old foam with high resilience anti-combustion foam layer

• Finally, re-upholster your couch or chair in a hydrophobic, anti-microbial vinyl fabric. We have large selection of medical grade vinyl colours to choose from and special colours can be sourced to order.

The Materials

Meditelle’s medical grade anti-combustion foam topper

• Meditelle’s hydrophobic, anti-microbial medical grade vinyl’s are MRSA and E-coli resistant

We offer a wide range of vinyl colours to choose from. Swatches are sent to you to pick from when you order this service. We are also able to source other colours to special order.
